I’m writing to you from atop a huge pile of laundry so let’s make this quick…

I haven’t had much time to write lately and wanted to do a piece on PNC Park for you Reds fans who consider going on the road with the boys. It’s a sweet little 5-6 hour ride to Pittsburgh from Cincinnati and a good option if you’re looking to make a quick road trip. The bottom line is this- PNC Park is pretty rad and the view from the ballpark is one of the most gorgeous in Major League Baseball. Instead of rambling on about it, I have some pictures for you.

Thank you to my friends Stephanie and Krystle (@stephseesgreen and @runrgrl12) for letting me post the excellent shots they got on their road trip a few weeks ago. Something tells me you will all like these a lot better than the products of my iPhone photography skills.

So here you have it… PNC park, the spectacular view, a few shots of Mat (because I may just be a little biased) and a dragon that I wanted to take home with me. I guess I’ll just have to visit him next time. Bummer.

p.s. I should probably be a real grown-up and purchase my own camera. Is that what grown-ups do?

everyone says the best camera is the one you have with you. iPhone actually takes decent photos, once you learn how to compose them (and don’t use the flash). However, if you think you want to carry another device around with you, and will use it, then go for it … I know plenty of people who are “professionals” that totally use their iPhones for this sort of thing.

Linda and I enjoy PNC park and we go to bars etc when we are in Pittsburg up on the hillside they remind us of MT Adams in Cincinnati

PS enjoyed the pictures thank you

I have a lot more that I should be doing, but nhtiong I enjoy more than reading your work (during commercials breaks from the men’s ACC Rock on, Mechelle!!
